When first intorduced to traffic this locomotive's running number was 90028 however it was later changed to 90128. Originally the prototype carried the Mainline livery but in the early 1990's, in celebration of Railfreight Distribution's link with SNCB, was repainted in the Belgium railways turquoise livery, a colour scheme that it carries to this day. A ringfield motor powers the model with pickups on all driving wheels. The model has a working pantograph that will allow control from an overhead catenary system as well as via the rail in the conventional manner.
