Converted for a passenger role, the Class 37/4 sub-class saw increasing use by the freight sector during the 1990s, following the introduction of 'Sprinter' units on many secondary routes. As one would expect, the new owners were keen to display their mark as shown by this representation of No. 37421. The Immingham-based machine features the Petroleum sub-sector's 'wavy line' logo and 'Shell' nameplates transfered from a Class 47.
