Great Western Trains were one of the first of the new privatised rail operators to commence service in February 1996 on routes out of Paddington and Waterloo to the West Country and South Wales. HST's like this one provide GWT's daytime services. Coaches are Hornby's scale length MK3's with running numbers exclusive to this pack. The presentation of the locomotive and dummy power car is also special to the pack, including wheels blackened to match the new finish on the coach wheels. Model features working headlights that operate in the direction of travel.
