GWR 1907 Churchward Autocoach Profile and Models

An Autocoach could often be seen being propelled down many branch lines by a variety of locomotives that were fitted with special auto push-pull equipment. The driving cab on the Autocoach meant that the locomotive could be controlled from there and negated the requirement to run the loco around at the end of the journey. The format was known as a push-pull train. The models here are specific to the GWR Diagram N coaches built during 1907, of which 6 were constructed. (Information Provided by Dapol) |
