The TEA wagon family encompasses a variety of 100 to 102 ton bogie tank wagons produced over several decades, starting in the 1960s, into the 1980s with Standard Wagon Co/ Chas Roberts built examples for Fina & Total Oil, with additiional new variations produced in the 1990s and 2000s for other operators including VTG.There are a myriad of detail variations due to the number of batches produced and the different eras they appeared. These vehicles are still used across much of the British rail network transporting oil to refineries and storage terminals across the country. |
