Whilst not representing a specific prototype. These locomotives have been designed to represent the small 4-wheel electric shunting locomotives that could have been seen in use in Japan. This model has now been repurposed for the UK to represent the small electric locomotives once used in the North East of England, such as the NER ES-1 and other similar vehicles built for the Harton Electric Railway and other industrial purposes.
