The Sentinel Waggon Works 100hp shunter was their last steam powered shunting locomotive design. They produced a large number of these small, vertical boilered, gear driven locomotives for use on a variety of industrial sites, where there was a need for locos that could steam quickly and were easy to operate by only 1 or 2 crew. They featured an unusual body design which made them look almost like diesel locomotives. |
